As the core of businesses and young entrepreneurs in promoting comprehensive recovery and sustainable development, at the 5th ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Carnival on November 30, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh He said that the vision of ASEAN young entrepreneurs should go beyond the borders of the country, constantly cooperate and seek opportunities to reach out to the big sea, to regional and international customers.

This is the first time that the Carnival is being held in the form directly in Vietnam and online with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of ASEAN countries. This is a testament to the proactive adaptation and adaptation to the "new normal" state of the world and the region, contributing to the implementation of ASEAN's dual role in ensuring the momentum of community building and responding to the Covid-19 pandemic and work towards a sustainable recovery.

Speaking at the Carnival, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh emphasized that the Covid-19 epidemic further shows that digitization or digital transformation is an irreversible trend, strongly appearing in all aspects; Digital economy has created new resources for development, changed the way of human communication, created equal development opportunities for all countries.

Recognizing this issue, Governments of ASEAN countries have raised the spirit of solidarity and made good use of opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution for an increasingly prosperous ASEAN community. In that spirit, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh wished the young ASEAN businessmen to understand their master roles in the ASEAN Community building process. From "community thinking and community action", it is necessary to associate the business benefit with the community's benefit.

At the same time, ASEAN young entrepreneurs need to have a vision that transcends national borders for the sake of cooperation and prosperity. Do not stop cooperating to reach out to the big sea to reach regional and international customers.

Also at the program, Mr. Dang Hong Anh - Chairman of Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Chairman of ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council 2020 - said that 2020 is the year the world in general and the ASEAN region in particular undergoes many variables and challenges caused by the Covid-19 epidemic. Movement between countries in the region encountered many difficulties and limitations. To ensure safety and also to show the spirit of cohesion and proactivity in ASEAN 2020, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association as Chairman of the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council organizes the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Carnival 2020 with wishes to affirm the position and role of young entrepreneurs in particular, the business community and Vietnamese businesses in general in joining hands with the Government to successfully organize ASEAN 2020.

During the tenure of the Chairman of the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council 2020, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has implemented many outstanding activities such as calling and mobilizing 10 billion VND to buy 10,000 Covid-19 quick test kits; donated to support more than 5 billion VND for flood victims in Central Vietnam; Donated 1 billion VND to Agent Orange dioxin victims."

Also at the program, the ceremony to award the flag of the rotating Chairman of ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council 2021 to the Brunei Young Entrepreneurs Association and the official website launch of the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council was held.
