Fostering Economic Growth: Strengthening Vietnam-Laos Ties through Business and Investment Cooperation
As part of their visit to Vietnam, on the afternoon of June 4th, a high-level delegation from the Lao State Inspectorate, led by Khamphan Phommathat, a member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Committee, and Chief Inspector of Laos, visited and held discussions at the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV). Attending the meeting also was Duong Quoc Huy, Deputy Inspector General of the Vietnamese Government.

This initiative, led by the Bình Thuan Department of Industry and Trade, seeks to foster stronger economic ties between Bình Thuan and Laos, enhance the province’s visibility, and facilitate trade, tourism, and investment opportunities.
