Remains of soldiers found in Laos reburied in Thua Thien-Hue

Thua Thien-Hue (VNA) – A service was held at a cemetery in Hue in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on May 6 to rebury 15 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who laid down their lives in Laos during the war.
The remains were repatriated from the Lao provinces of Salavan and Sekong by Team 192 of the Thua Thien-Hue Military High Command.
None of the remains have been identified.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong expressed his gratitude to the martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for peace, independence and Vietnam-Laos solidarity and friendship./.
