Vietnam Support Laos in Establishing Alounmai Electronic Magazine
The Ministry of Communist Magazine Editorial and Viettel Military Telecommunications Industry Group sponsored the AlounMai electronic magazine project, and on the morning of July 5, 2023, a solemn ceremony to mark the handover and reception of construction equipment took place at the Central Propaganda Department of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party's headquarters.
The program fosters a sense of harmony, friendship, and affection between the two states, the two peoples, and the two parties.
Keeping up with the trend of modern journalism is an inevitable move, according to Mr. Le Hai, a member of the Editorial Board and Head of the Electronic Department of the Communist Magazine, who shared at the handover ceremony that the Political Theory Agency of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party builds and publishes the electronic magazine AlounMai. The AlounMai electronic journal serves as a powerful medium of information dissemination, helping to make the Party's policies and the laws of Lao State known to all segments of society.
Mr. Le Hai stated that the Vietnamese Communist Magazine is prepared to share its knowledge and expertise in electronic journalism with AlounMai Electronic Magazine. The Vietnamese Communist Magazine will also provide active support when AlounMai Electronic Magazine officially launches, laying the groundwork for the magazine to fulfill the responsibilities given to it by the Laotian Party and State.
Laopaosong Navongxay, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, expressed his profound thanks to the Ministry of Communist Magazine Editorial for their genuine assistance. Mr. Laopaosong Navongxay was very appreciative of the Communist Magazine staff's willingness to generously share their knowledge and experience in managing electronic newspapers with the staff of AlounMai Electronic Magazine in a short amount of time.
The Communist Review's support and cooperation in the process of constructing and publishing the electronic journal AlounMai is exceedingly significant, according to the Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party. In a move toward digitization, modernization, and keeping up with current trends, the electronic magazine's operations enhance communication channels of the Party's policies and the State's laws to the Lao people. Furthermore, this is a significant endeavor that helps spread, nurture, and strengthen the unique camaraderie, friendliness, and all-encompassing cooperative connection between Vietnam and Laos, as well as the Journal of the two Parties.
Mr. Le Hai, Acting Editor-in-Chief of AlounMai Magazine and representative of the Ministry of Communist Magazine Editorial, presented Mr. Vanlaty Khamvanvongxa with a plaque at the conclusion of the event. The plaque recorded the entire worth of the equipment, which included ten computers, two video cameras, and two cameras. This machinery was brought to the capital city of Vientiane, where AlounMai Magazine is based. The delegation from Communist Magazine had previously come to assist with the setup, direction, and training of AlounMai Magazine's employees in the use of equipment and the operation of the electronic magazine.
