Vietnam-Laos strengthens cooperation on publishing
On May 23, the Vietnamese National Political Publishing House and Lao National Book Publishing House, held a seminar and signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two sides.

The two sides highly appreciated the important achievements achieved in the cooperative relationship in the past years, further strengthen the special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, the two States and the people of Vietnam and Laos.
Speaking at the event, Acting Director, Editor-in-chief of Vietnamese National Political Publishing House Pham Chi Thanh hoped that Laos National Book Publishing House will be a bridge connecting with the Evaluation Council for books translated into Lao language to ensure publishing on schedule and quality.
In the next phase, the two sides agreed, on an annual basis, the Vietnamese National Political Publishing House will help Laos choosing 10-15 valuable theoretical and political books of Vietnam, translating into Lao language (1,000 copies per book) to provide for leaders of the Party, the State, ministries, industries, localities of Laos, contributing to development of the special friendship and solidarity relationship between the two Parties, the State and the people of the two countries of Vietnam and Laos.
