Hanoi Delegation Embarks On Diplomatic Mission To Strengthen Ties With Laos
From April 20th to the 24th, 2023, a delegation from Hanoi traveled to Laos as a major diplomatic gesture. Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha, who serves as the Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council and is a member of the Permanent Board of the Hanoi Party Committee, led the delegation.

Promoting Cultural and Economic Exchange Activities in Vietnam-Laos: Strengthening Bilateral Relations through Collaboration
On April 29, 2023, the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos will host the "Global Vietnamese Fatherland Day" and the "Forum for investment and trade promotion of overseas Vietnamese and Laos in Laos 2023" events, along with a gala dinner. The event is being organized in collaboration with various groups, including the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Businessmen (BAOOV), the International intercultural, scientific, and media organization Global Vietnamese Fathers' Day Project Board, the Vietnamese General Association, the Vietnamese Business Association in Laos, and the Vietnamese Association in the Capital Vientiane. The government of Laos has graciously sponsored and supported the proceedings.

South East Asian Traditions Celebrated at Kon Tum Cultural Exchange Festival
Tuesday, April 9, 2023 - In a lively celebration of regional unity and cultural legacy, the Cultural Exchange Festival with the theme "Colors of Indochina" took place this morning to commemorate the traditional New Year celebrations of Bunpimay in Laos and Chol Chnam Thmay in Cambodia. The Kon Tum campus of the University of Da Nang, in collaboration with the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia Friendship Association and the Department of Foreign Affairs in Kon Tum Provincial, organized the event, which drew participants from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
